Guest Services Team

There are many practical ways to serve at Faith Family Church.  There is literally a place for everyone to find fulfillment and use their gifts.  Knowing where to start is sometimes the biggest question and a great answer is in the support ministries of the church.  Working side by side is a great way to get to know each other while helping others.  Our Connect Guide gives you an up to date list of all of our ministries or you can scroll down for details on those specific to the Guest Services Team.

This team assists with the baptismal setup, preparation and cleanup. Baptisms are held on the first Sunday of even numbered months. Photography skills are welcomed to capture the baptisms as they happen.

The bereavement meal team is involved in food setup, serving and cleanup for meals following funeral services at Faith Family Church. This special team offers warm smiles and friendly faces in time of need.

This team assists customers with with food and merchandise purchases in the Bookstore/Café or in the East Café. The Bookstore/Café is open on Sunday mornings before and after each service.

This team prepares and serves a light lunch to new members while they are greeted by the pastoral staff. This luncheon is held quarterly.

Team members prepare and clean up the communion elements for one service on the third Sunday of each month and special occasions.

This team assists the ushers in serving communion to our congregation for one service on the third Sunday of each month and special occasions.

This team greets visitors in the auditorium before and after services. They are often some of the first friendly faces that visitors encounter. This is a great team for friendly and outgoing people. All team members are selected through an interview process.

In our mission to make everyone feel welcome, we post a smiling greeter at every door.

MRT | Medical Response Team 
The MRT is available to provide medical assistance to members of the congregation as needed. Medical background and training is required.

The parking team keeps our parking lot safe, friendly and running smoothly.

The security team provides a secure environment for services and special events by monitoring building and campus activities, identifying potential security threats, and partnering with law enforcement. All team members are selected through an interview process. Men and women are welcome.

SWAT TEAM | Servants Who Accomplish Tasks
The SWAT team assists the church office staff with a range of administrative items which include preparing supplies for the weekly services (welcome packets, visitor bags, bulletins) and items for various other ministries. This team serves on Thursday mornings from 9am to 12pm.

Ushers assist in seating guests, gathering offerings and carrying out assignments that ensure the service flows in a reverent and efficient manner.

This team staffs the Guest Services kiosk to greet, answer questions and provide practical assistance to our guests.
