We have so many lovely ladies in this church. The different backgrounds represented here make this a rich community of women. As you know, every age has its joys and challenges. Together we embrace every season of life, cheering each other on.
Girl Thing Events are geared to ages 14 and up. Together we worship, learn and laugh a lot. And each time we meet, we give back to the community with a special project focus. When the Girl Thing mannequins come out all dressed up, you’ll know an event is coming up. You can also join a Girl Thing small group (for women ages 18 and up.) If you are interested in being a Girl Thing small group leader or in helping with events (these happen 2 times a year) please email Elaine at firstname.lastname@example.org.
GIRL THING CORE VALUES
Laughter | We all need to laugh because it is the best medicine ever!
Teaching | Whether in small groups or at an event it’s a great opportunity to speak to our unique issues.
Worship | Because Jesus is the first and foremost love of our lives.
Pampering | We’re always serving others; we need a bit of pampering ourselves.
Mission Focus | Our offerings are received to bless others who are in need.

Where in the World is Pastor Marjie?
It’s been a while since I’ve written. It’s been of the busiest season yet in my life, punctuated by the goings and comings of my sons who both live in foreign countries right now, my mom getting very sick and a two week trip to Mozambique – while there getting food poisoning and Malaria to create the whole Africa experience!
